Legacy Hall Welcomes Five New Eateries

Legacy Hall Welcomes Five New Eateries - hero

We've kicked off the new year with FIVE new eateries!

From rounding out our Asian food options with a third stall from restaurateur Chef Chin Liang, to gourmet ice cream and boozy shakes, Legacy Hall truly has something for everyone.

Yan Pan Asian

Yan Pan Asian is now open and offers an array of popular dishes from cultures throughout Asia. This is the third concept for Chef Chin Liang who opened Hōru Sushi Kitchen at Legacy Hall in September 2019 and Chef Chin’s Hibachi & Ramen in February 2020 to much success. On Yan Pan’s menu, guests can choose from dishes such as Spicy Thai Curry and Pad Thai from Thailand, Yakitori Chicken Robata from Japan, and traditional Chinese dishes including Kung Pao Chicken to American Chinese-inspired dishes like Orange Chicken. One of Liang’s favorite dishes on the menu is the General Tao’s Chicken, prepared with a homemade sauce from his dad’s recipes.

Bourbon Vanilla Ice Cream Co.

Whisk & Eggs Founder, Chef Julien Eelsen, introduces his newest concept Bourbon Vanilla Ice Cream Co., opening this February. The menu features traditional and soft serve ice cream, milkshakes and sundaes, including alcohol infused flavors. Don’t miss the Bourbon Vanilla Cup prepared with Bourbon & Vanilla Soft Serve, Pecan Praline Crumble, Bourbon Sauce, Cherry Jam and Cookie Crumbs. Additional signature items include Campfire S’mores – Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, Chocolate Sauce, Graham Cracker Crumbs, Toasted Marshmallows, Chocolate Pearls; Candy Mountain – Vanilla Bean Soft Serve, Caramel Sauce, Rotating Toppings (Twix, M&M’s, Peanut Butter Cup Pieces); Macarons Ice Cream Sandwiches; Banana Split Sundae; Brownie a la Mode, and more.

Leila Bakery

Kelly Ball of Leila Bakery & Café has brought her scratch-baked goods to Plano with her second location called Leila Bakery, now open in Legacy Hall. The menu at the food hall includes savory favorites such as Sausage, Cheddar & Candied Jalapeño Kolaches; Quiche Lorraine; and Quiche Florentine; in addition to sweets including nostalgic Oatmeal Cream Pies, to traditional desserts like Chocolate Chip Cookies; Honey Roasted Peanut Butter Cookies; Coconut Macaroons; Seasonal Shortbread; and Cake Pops. Unique to the Legacy Hall location is the Cakelett; a custom creation in which guests choose the sponge, frosting, fillings and toppings.

The Italian Job

Legacy Hall’s scratch-made pasta kitchen, The Italian Job, has expanded its footprint by taking over the adjacent space and has added New York-style pizza to its menu. Pizza is available by the slice or by the whole pie (18 inches) and comes in traditional options like Cheese; Pepperoni; Sausage and Peppers; Veggie; and White Pie. Guests can also create their own pizza with toppings such as jalapeno, red onion, caramelized onion, chili oil, artichoke, fresh basil, ricotta whip, meatballs, and more – available for whole pies only.

Buttercup

Buttercup, the latest concept from Front Burner Society, will take an unconventional approach to chicken tenders with a focus on global influences and flavors. The chicken tenders are served “tossed, topped or sauced”, and served in a cup or cone. For Legacy Hall specifically, the group wanted to offer a handheld food option that could be easily enjoyed “on the go” while standing to watch a concert in the Box Garden or exploring all three floors of Legacy Hall. A representative from the eatery describes the concept as, “bold, market defining, culinary driven, unconventional, reimagined comfort food for franchise futurists.”
